Once, a trade ship passing through the Baltius gas fields spotted a body of significant mass floating chaotically, as it seemed, through the clouds of plasma and gas. Too small to be a planet and too large to be an asteroid, it was classified as "B" and filed away. Centuries later, it was spotted again on the outer ridges of Baltius for a short time, then disappeareed again. During the short time it was observed, the science vessel passing by detected unprecedently high percentage of Iridium in its core. The explorers went further into the gas clouds to follow B, and found it orbiting the center of Baltius gas fields. They deployed, and found out that B was a small, cavrnous planet with a small layer of foggy atmosphere and ihabited by only primitive life forms. While it is unknown how B got where it is today, its chaotic movement is explained by the ever-changing mass of Baltius's gravitational center duel to plasma inflows and outflows, which chagtes the pull it exhers on B, sometimes allowing it to float far out, and sometimes pulling it to orbit very closely. The settlers started heavy Iridium mining going in the cold core B, and created only a few small settlements on the surface.

Recent History:

As Kaleostro galaxy lurched into war, the inhabitants of B were able to avoid any combat since the planet is so hard to find unless someone is specifically looking for it. However, Iridium-carrying trade ships have been spotted coming out of Baltius gas fields, and the planet, rich and elusive, is a very attrative choice for any unit's operations base.

History Update:

A spaceship of the mercenary group called The Claws followed one of the trade ships through the gas fields back to the planet and landed on it. After short and efficient "negotiations", the planet's original owners agreed to play The Claws half of their profits and allow them to establish a base on B, in exchange for protection.
